Survivors of Gun Violence Candlelight Vigil

Bethel Gospel Assembly 2-26 East 120th Street, Manhattan (120th Street between 5th and Madison Avenues)

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr.,—along with the New York City Police Department, Harlem Mothers, and Street Corner Resources—will host a Youth Violence Candlelight Vigil this Friday evening at the Beth Gospel Assembly in Harlem to raise awareness about the increasing number of violent incidences among young people, particularly those caused by guns. The vigil will be followed by a gun buyback program on Saturday, sponsored by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the NYPD.

Gun Buyback

Beth Gospel Assembly Church and Holy Family R.C. Church

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr. and the New York City Police Department will host a Gun Buyback on Saturday, October 22. Individuals will receive a $200 bank card for turning in an operable handgun and a $20 bank card for operable rifles and shotguns.

Gun drop-off sites will be at the following locations: Beth Gospel Assembly, 2-26 East 120thStreet in Harlem, and St. Joseph of the Holy Family R.C. Church, 405 W. 125thStreet in Harlem.
