Upper Manhattan Domestic Violence Collaborative Interfaith Breakfast

The Upper Manhattan Domestic Violence Collaborative is a partnership of 12 community-based medical, social, legal services and law enforcement agencies dedicated to creating a single point of entry service model for domestic violence victims.  The collaborative uses coordinated interdisciplinary intervention strategies to provide culturally competent civil legal assistance, immigration, clinical and supportive services to victims of domestic violence in the Upper Manhattan communities of Central Harlem, East Harlem, Inwood and Washington Heights.

NYCLA and AABANY Celebrate Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month and Diversity on the Bench

Chief Assistant District Attorney Daniel R. Alonso will participate in this year’s celebration. New York County Lawyers’ Association and the Asian American Bar Association of New York host Asian-American jurists at this event. The Asian Pacific American Heritage Month celebration, which originated in 1977 as a 10-day event, became a month-long celebration in 1992. For more information click here.
