The Community Affairs Unit is a critical link between the District Attorney's Office and the community at large. We are committed to helping local residents and businesses solve crime problems and develop strategies to prevent crime. Members of block associations, tenant groups, other organizations, or individuals seeking to address neighborhood crime problems may contact the Community Affairs Unit.
In addition, the Unit sponsors educational programs for adults and elementary through high school students interested in learning about the Criminal Justice System. For more information about these programs, please contact the Community Affairs Unit.
Advisor to the District Attorney for Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender Issues
The Advisor serves as an advocate for gay and lesbian crime victims and as a resource for those working within the Criminal Justice System. The Advisor also acts as a point of contact for gay / lesbian / bisexual / transgender individuals, and organizations, or other interested people, seeking information about specific criminal cases or broader issues related to criminal justice.
