| Mother Accused of Killing Son, 8, in Manhattan Hotel Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr., today announced the indictment of GIGI JORDAN, 49, on one count of Murder in the Second Degree in connection with the death of her 8-year-old son, Jude Mirra[1]. The killing of a child is beyond comprehension,” said District Attorney Vance. “My thoughts are with the family as they cope with this young life cut short.” According to the complaint previously filed in the case, JORDAN was charged in the murder of her son after the boy was found unresponsive on a bed inside the Peninsula Hotel in Manhattan. A large number of prescription pills were found scattered throughout the room where JORDAN and the boy were found. Assistant District Attorney Kerry O’Connell presented the case to the grand jury and will be in charge of the prosecution.
