STATEMENT ON VERDICT IN THE TRIAL OF CRANE RIGGER WILLIAM RAPETTI

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr., issued the following statement concerning the verdict in the case of the People v. William Rapetti and Rapetti Rigging Services Inc.:

“While we respect the criminal justice process, we are extremely disappointed by the court’s verdict. At this time our thoughts go out to the seven victims’ families, whose lives were devastated by this tragic incident.”
