NY judge gives prison to Nevada man arrested in Thailand

A man who pleaded guilty to stealing tens of thousands of dollars in an international securities scheme will spend three to nine years in a New York prison. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. announced the sentence Thursday for Theodore Werner of Las Vegas, Nevada. He pleaded guilty in April to grand larceny, money laundering and scheme to defraud.
