Serial reckless driver gets prison for mowing down pedestrian

A reckless driver convicted of fatally running over a woman on the Upper West Side was sentenced to 1-to-3 years in state prison as the victim’s family blasted his carelessness and refusal to take responsibility. “What really blew me away was what I saw as a total lack of remorse,” said Brian Duffy, brother of victim Jean Chambers.
