Press Office Internship


Depending on the assignment, students may assist with coordinating press conferences, staffing internal and external events, writing community event re-caps, fielding calls from New York media, monitoring media coverage in community papers, relaying important information about ongoing trials to the Press Office, and managing a daily list of news clips relevant to the work of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. The Press Office is a fast-paced work environment in which excellent writing, computer, research and organization skills are highly appreciated, as is a strong interest in criminal law and current events.

Time Commitment:

Both full and part-time internships are available for several terms: September – December, January – May, or May – August. A stipend or school credit is available as compensation.
